Tiss joined Mike Rankin in business in 1986 under the then named company - Mighty Meat. Tiss was brought on to help drive growth through sales, and in 1987, the business moved to Peterhead and name changed its name to Meatpak. At this time Meatpak acquired 11 springfield retail butcher outlets. Tiss took on the new role as General Manager of both the retail and wholesale divisions. In 1995, with Holco, Tiss continued as General Manager until just prior to the business merger with Thomas Foods International. He now concentrates on national business procurement and the wholesale business operations.
